FIFA World Cup 2018 - Brazil Squad - Brazil national team coach, Tite, listed the world's most expensive player, Neymar, in the 2018 World Cup qualifying squad.

The Brazilian national team is scheduled to face Ecuador on 31 August, and Colombia, 5 September.

Neymar broke the transfer record when Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) bought it from Barcelona for 222 million euros.

In addition to Neymar, Tite also recruit other PSG penggawa, namely Dani Alves, Thiago Silva, and Marquinhos.

There are only two players from Serie A, namely goalkeeper Alisson (AS Roma) and Joao Miranda (Inter Milan), on the latest squad.

Selecao has secured a ticket to the 2018 World Cup. Collecting 33 points from 14 matches, the Brazilian national team is unlikely to overtake the sixth-ranked Ecuadorian standings, 13 points behind. Therefore, the allowance leaves only four games.

However, the presence of one or two people alone will not be a guarantee for a team to become a champion in a soccer championship competition like the 2018 FIFA World Cup later. The opinion is said by former footballer Pele.

The presence of Neymar and Gabriel Jesus can indeed make the game more convincing Brazil. But the presence of these two players can not ensure Brazil will win the 2018 World Cup to be held in Russia next year.

In the current Brazil squad there is the name Neymar who played in Barcelona. The Selecao also has a Jesus who played fantastic with Manchester City.

But they also need to remember that in 2014, Brazil swallowed disappointing results in the World Cup. When to the semi-finals, Brazil suffered a defeat at home with a score of 7-1 when facing Germany.

Neymar and Jesus could be the ultimate weapon in World Cup finals next year. However, the presence of two players is not enough unless the existing team can play compact.

Pele, who has won three World Cup titles with Brazil in 1958, 1962 and 1970, said winning the World Cup requires a team capable of playing well. The existence of one or two star players alone will not be enough to make Brazil champions.

"Look, it's difficult because people only mention one or two good players, but who can win the game and the World Cup is a team," Pele replied when asked about the importance of Neymar and Jesus in the Brazil squad.

"To win the World Cup, or to win a game should be a good team not just one player."

"What we need is to make a good team and make them play good, I think it will be a great World Cup and I hope Brazil will qualify for the final," he hoped.
